The 355 is an American action spy thriller film that was directed by Simon Kinberg. It was made from a screenplay written by Theresa Rebeck, Kinberg and Rebeck. As a group international spies, they must work together in order to stop an terrorist organization from starting World War III. Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramirez also star. This title derives from Agent 355, a codename for a female spy who worked with the Patriots during American Revolution.

Chastain had been working on Dark Phoenix with Kinberg when he came up with the idea for the movie. The official announcement of the project took place in May 2018. Universal Pictures acquired distribution rights at the 71st Cannes Film Festival. Filming was done in Paris and London between June 2019 and September 2019.
The 355 was theatrically released by the United States Theatres on January 7, 2022. The film received mostly negative reviews from critics, and very positive reviews from the public. It failed to perform at the box-office, earning $27.8million worldwide, compared to its $40-75 million budget and costing Universal $93 million.
A drug lord gives Elijah Clarke, a criminal mastermind, a special decryption drive. It can be accessed by any digital system in the world, and it is located 150 miles south from Bogota, Colombia. Clarke kills Clarke as authorities raid his mansion. Luis Rojas, a Colombian DNI agent, finds the device amid the chaos.
Mason “Mace”, a CIA operative, is given the task of purchasing the drive from Rojas. With Nick Fowler, her long-term partner, she travels to Paris in pursuit of the woman she loves. Marie Schmidt, a German undercover agent of the BND, seizes the money bag. Marie escapes with Mace, while Nick confronts Clarke in an alleyway.
Mace discovers Nick had been found dead in an alleyway at CIA headquarters. Larry Marks, her superior, gives Mace his approval to retrieve the drive using any means. Mace goes to London to find Khadijah Adiyeme, a former British MI6 agent. Rojas arranges for Graciela Rivera to drive the vehicle, a DNI psychologist without any field experience. Jonas Muller, Marie’s boss, pushes Marie to take the drive. He mentions how Marie’s father, a senior BND agent, was someone she turned after learning that he was Russian mole.
