Badhaai Do, a Hindi comedy drama film from 2022 depicting a couple who have a lavender wedding. Rajkummar Rao stars in the film, as well as Bhumi Pedenkar. It was written by Akshat Ghildial (Suman Adhikary) and directed by Harshavardhan Karnarni. Junglee Pictures produced the film, which serves as a spiritual sequel to Badhaai Ho (2018). Principal photography was started in Dehradun on the 5th of January 2021. Badhaai Do theatrically released on 11/02/2022.

Badhaai Do Full Movie 8xmovies Review 2022
Shardul Thakur, a police officer, is pestered by his widowed mother to get married. Suman Singh (also known as Sumi) is a physical education teacher who meets an attractive woman through a lesbian dating site. Sumi agrees to meet the woman in a cafe. Sumi discovers that she was chatting with a man disguised as a lesbian when she reached the cafe.
Sumi runs away from the cafe in fear, but the man starts to stalk her. He counterthreats by exposing her as a lesbian and threatening to report her to the police. Sumi is fed up with his blackmail and reports it to Shardul who works in a station that is largely staffed by female officers. Shardul meets Sumi, and tells her the man on the dating app has been warned. While he makes a deal to marry Sumi, he also reveals that he is gay and that they would be able to reconcile their families. Sumi accepts the deal, and they are married.
Shardul and Sumi meet their boyfriend Kabir on their honeymoon. Sumi and Shardul move in to police quarters after returning from their trip. Sumi eventually meets Rimjhim, a doctor who works in a hospital. They go on a date and Rimjhim shares how she was rejected by her family because she is a lesbian.
Soon after they meet, Rimjhim moves into Sumi’s bedroom and begins a relationship. Rimjhim discovers Sumi’s passport and Sumi admits she wants to have a baby. Sumi also confesses that she bought the passport in order to be able to move abroad. Shardul’s superior asks them about Rimjhim and they just smile and say that she is their cousin.
Kabir hits Shardul when he suspects Shardul of cheating on him. Shardul is left devastated when Kabir walks out on Shardul. A few days later Shardul manages a group homophobic protestors at a gay wedding. Guru Narayan is a queer lawyer who sees him. He instantly takes a liking for Shardul and puts his business card in Shardul’s hand. Soon after they meet, Guru Narayan introduces Sumi and Rimjhim to him.
